These fine truffles are gathered in Italy, cleaned, selected and sliced into “splendid petals” ready to be savoured in many different recipes.
They are completely natural, with no additives, preservatives or flavourings added.
Freeze-drying is the only preservation technique that makes it possible to keep TRUFFLES for a very long period of time (over two years) without the need for refrigeration, retaining the flavour and aroma of fresh truffles.
White truffles are naturally skinless (while black truffles are cleaned and peeled), so the petals are instantly rehydrated when sprinkled on pasta and rice dishes, sauces, condiments, etc. releasing the aroma of fresh truffles.
Truffle is best paired with delicate, neutral flavoured dishes that will not interfere with their aroma.
They are excellent with every kind of pasta, especially egg noodles dressed with butter or oil, cheese sauces, risotto, soups, cheese fondue, eggs, etc.
Truffle petals can also be added to melted butter which will be poured on pasta, poached eggs, etc.
